Cath has specialised in all aspects of family law for over 3 decades.
She has been accredited by the Law Society of Scotland in family law, child law and is an accredited mediator, arbitrator and collaborative lawyer.
During her career, Cath has been involved in a number of landmark, reported cases often with high net worth or an international dimension. Cath has brought alternative dispute resolution methods to Scotland and in particular was instrumental in bringing collaborative practice to Scotland over 20 years ago along with Parenting Apart classes.
Cath has served on various international and national boards such as the International Academy of Collaborative Practice , the European Academy of Collaborative Practice, Consensus Scotland, Relationships Scotland and was the co-editor of the Family Law Association bulletin for over a decade. Cath has continued to keep abreast of key developments in family law and has developed a specialism in fertility law. She has delighted in helping many couples and individuals complete their families.
Outside of work Cath enjoys travel and strength training.
